TOWN OF KNAPP — Charges are pending against a 23-year-old Warrens man who authorities said was driving drunk when he struck and killed a 60-year-old woman on an ATV Saturday afternoon, according to the Jackson County Sheriff’s Department.

Karen Gibson of Brodhead, Wis., was killed when her ATV was struck by a car driven by Phillip J. Holloway, 23, of Warrens about 4:15 p.m. Saturday on Fish Creek Road in the town of Knapp, the department stated.
A girl also riding on the ATV sustained nonlife-threatening injuries.

Holloway is being held in the Jackson County Jail pending possible charges related to the crash, according to the department.
