" While there is a great deal of anger revolving around the accident of Aunt Karen and the drunk driver Holloway.I would like to add to the postings, one of our family members had to speak directly to Holloway and for someone who is to be such a good person, there was no question as to the status of the child or how the family was doing. NO REMORSE what so ever. OH the officer on the scene does have an uncoached statement from the child. Sorry to say, but yes I would believe a SOBER child compared to a 23 drunk with more then one offense. And I would venture to say that Holloway has driven intoxicated more then 2 times, he just happen to kill someone this time and that is unforgivable regardless of how good of a person he may or may not be. We support our friends and family regardless of what others may think. Also read the rest of the article and you will see how much Phllip had to pay,it was more than just a signature bond. "

Seeing how the day that an amazing life was taken by a repeat offender and 4 other dui/dwi charges were reported in the weekend alone. Yet the judge who obviously is from the backwoods of God knows where and has never lost anyone by a senseless act of stupidity releases Phillip Holloway on a signature bond! Seriously! Maybe its just me but a repeat offender kills somebody (as some would say an accident-WHATEVER) and he pays nothing to be released. I hope he is not indulging on to much for the labor day weekend holiday...I would hate for someone to get hurt!-again "

Second Twilite...what gives you the right to go out there and post all this old stuff about Phillip from when he was younger. Nobody can say that they have never drove after having a few drinks or never worn the seat belt.
Our family does feel for the family of Karen. But they both were in the wrong. She never should of been on the road and neither should of Phillip. Why don't you all stop with your comments and leave my family alone and get a real life. "

You say that if he was not drinking and driving this would not have happened...In this area, there are designated areas for ATV's to ride on called trails. Karen was on a pubic road...Is that legal? Were they wearing helmets? Is it legal for two people to ride on a 4-wheeler? Especially a small child? As far as not needing people out on the streets...I think he was not out on the streets, he was out on a back country DIRT road. People are not saying that he does not need to pay for the crime, but go to prison for a LONG time??? If this was your son/brother/family, would you feel the same? If you would, then I feel sorry for you. "

AND AGAIN YOU THINK HE WOULD HAVE LEARNED HIS LESSON THE FIRST TIME HE GOT PICKED UP FOR DRINKING AND DRIVING. We do not need people like this out on the streets. "

I will pray for him and his family but find a cold spot in my heart seeing how he is a repeat offender! I do not quite understand how any person can blame a victim of a drunk driver at fault, especially since all the facts are not clear, the word of the defendent is not a verification to me. The ATV rider should not have been on the road driving where she was (especially with a 3 year old) and Phil, especially given his history, should not have gotten behind the wheel. If you are not in possession of all the facts, pointing fingers only leads to more confusion - let the court system fight it out and come to a valid conclusion. "

He needs to be held responsible for his actions & maybe it will get throught to his relatives that it's not so funny anymore.
