Young leaders will have the opportunity to become engaged in their community through a new La Crosse Community Foundation club that aims to help them develop relationships with nonprofit organizations, coordinators said.

The First Fridays Club will meet monthly to connect with other leaders � age 40 and younger, learn about La Crosse-area nonprofit organizations and talk about philanthropy, said Heather Quackenboss, La Crosse Community Foundation program director.
Its first meeting will be at 5:30 p.m. Sept. 5 at Peaberry’s, 40 Copeland Ave.
