The following appeared in La Crosse County Circuit Court:
ACCUSED
Christopher Kane, 19, of 923 S. Sixth St., was charged Wednesday with third-degree sexual assault. Kane is accused of sexually assaulting an 18-year-old woman Aug. 12, according to the criminal complaint.
" I hope this isn't one of those he broke up with me so I'm going to file charges. Being they are so close in age. If he did do the crime he should pay for it though. "
