MILWAUKEE — Milwaukee residents felt and heard a rumble this morning when thousands of Harley-Davidson motorcycles filled the streets in a parade celebrating the company's 105th anniversary.

About 7,500 motorcycles were expected to travel a 4 1/2-mile route that starts at Miller Park and ends at the Summerfest grounds along Lake Michigan.

Company spokesman Jerry Gleason says the riders were randomly selected from those who bought celebration tickets before December.

More than 100,000 people are expected in Milwaukee for the anniversary celebration, which include activities at the new Harley-Davidson -a special exhibit at Discovery World and a Saturday night performance by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band.
