Milwaukee man accused of bomb-making plot

.
MILWAUKEE — Tipped off by an informant, police say they had a man under surveillance while he bought materials for making bombs he allegedly planned to use against drug and gang houses in his Milwaukee neighborhood.

When officers arrested 57-year-old Robert Leyer in a store parking lot, they reported finding bomb-making books and papers in his car. Now the co-owner of a Milwaukee security firm faces a charge of possessing improvised explosives.
The criminal complaint says Leyer threatened that anyone who leaked his plans would be killed and destroyed in his wood chipper.

He's quoted as telling investigators he talked about making bombs to blow up the gang houses but never intended to do it.

His preliminary hearing is scheduled next Friday.

" have you ever lived in Milwaukee or know any one who has? apparently it is quit lawless with the police unwilling or unable to do what needs to be done. this is when private citizens usually step in. violence is not the answer. decriminalization of what we call "drugs" is the only way we can effectively combat gang warfare in the U.S. and abroad. just look at southern mexico and central america. recently many leaders of these countries asked for a change in OUR drug policy because of the amount of killing that happens daily there because of the drug smugglers fighting for control of cocaine distribution in the United States. if we really want to make money from the war on drugs we should control how they come here and make sure that they are safe for the people who CHOOSE to take them.
