Duluth soccer coach faces porn charges in Miami

DULUTH, Minn. (AP) — Officials at Proctor High School in Duluth are investigating whether any students were victimized by a volunteer soccer coach who's been charged with distributing child pornography over the internet.

On Friday, 29-year-old Charles Dunbar of Iron River was being transported to Miami to face the charges in federal court.

Dunbar has coached at Proctor for the past three seasons and had planned to coach this season until the charges surfaced.

Proctor Superintendent of Schools Diane Rauschenfels said so far there's no evidence any of the soccer players were victimized. Staff members from the Program for Aid to Victims of Sexual Assault plan to be available to meet with girls Wednesday.

The charges against Dunbar stem from an Internet conversation with an undercover law enforcement officer.
