I understand that we all have different political viewpoints, but his remarks concerning candidates and personal problems was uncalled for. I have a hard time believing that he has never had problems in his family that were heartbreaking and hard to deal with.
His comments on “Barbie running for vice president” were sexist and demeaning to all women. I would like to inform him that there are a lot of beautiful, bright and competent women in this world. He should have such a background as Mrs. Palin.
Mr. Christenson is a good example of a male chauvinist in columnist clothes. And, yes, yes, I know ... freedom of the press, freedom of speech and all of that!
