A Wednesday international Bible study for women called “Life of Moses” begins Wednesday at Bethany Evangelical Free Church, 2926 Hwy. B. The study runs from 9 to 11 a.m.

Wisconsin Council of Churches will present a workshop called “Visions from the End of the World: Ezekiel and Exile” from 9 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. Wednesday at First Congregational UCC community room, 2503 Main St. Instructor will be William Tooman, assistant professor of religious studies, Edgewood College, Madison. Cost is $65.

An old-fashioned summer carnival block party will be from 3 to 6 p.m. Sunday at English Lutheran Church, 1509 King St. This second annual event will feature ice cream, rides, children’s games, a scavenger hunt, entertainment by three bands, beaded jewelry-making, an art show, a silent auction and a dunk tank.

The first fall meeting of 3MF at First Presbyterian Church, 233 West Ave. S., will be at 1 p.m. Monday preceded by a noon lunch. It will feature a PowerPoint presentation called “Uncovering the Truth Behind Common Health Myths and Misconceptions,” presented by Brian Udermann, professor with the College of Science and Health, University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
