“Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition” tells the story of the hundreds of people aboard through authentic artifacts and room recreations.
There’s the perfume from a maker who was traveling to New York to sell his samples and china etched with the logo of the elite White Star Line. There’s even a 3,000 pound portion of ship’s hull.
One of the galleries is devoted to items with Wisconsin connections.
About 1,500 people died when the so-called “unsinkable” ship sank after striking an iceberg on its maiden voyage across the Atlantic Ocean in 1912.
The show runs until May 25.
