Today is Higher Education Day in the state

Today will be celebrated as Higher Education Day across the state to raise awareness of higher education opportunities, according to a news release from Wisconsin State Treasurer Dawn Marie Sass.

Students of all ages are invited to learn about financial aid, ways to save for college, meet with administration representatives and more. All events are free.
Parents and students can meet admissions representatives from the region and learn about requirements, academic programs, financial aid, scholarships, housing and more from 9 to 11 a.m. at the La Crosse Center. To RSVP, e-mail Jennifer Machacek at jennifer.machacek@marquette.edu.

The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse will offer a financial aid open house from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Financial Aid Office, 215 Graff Main Hall. To RSVP, call Louise Larson Janke at (608) 785-8604.

The financial aid and admissions offices at Viterbo University will have an open house from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., with admissions at the Reinhart Center, room 113, and financial aid at the Murphy Center, room 218. To RSVP, call Caryn Witt at (608) 796-3010.
