The Packers have done extremely well running the ball against Seattle in the past. Who could forget Ryan Grant rushing for 201 yards against the Seahawks in the Packers’ 42-20 victory against Seattle last winter?
While the Seahawks defense is 24th against the rush, Green Bay’s rushing defense is even worse at No. 27.
The Seahawks receiving corps is in shambles with six receivers nursing injuries.
Green Bay’s offensive line, especially star tackle Chad Clifton, looked terrible against the Atlanta Falcons last week. You can bet the o-line will try to make a statement this week, especially with the run game.
Seattle has the NFL’s sixth best rushing offense.
While both offenses are predicated on the pass, look for them to take the air out of the football with their running games. That’s why it should be a quicker game than usual.
