or to make a reservation, call (608) 788-3632.A fall bazaar and bake sale will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 8 at Bethel Lutheran Church, 931 Loomis St. Craft items may be submitted to the church from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 8 a.m. to noon Friday. To prepare for the bake sale, try out your favorite recipes. Norwegian items needed include lefse, as well as candies and snacks items.The first of four sessions of the Cathedral Forum series will be from 9 to 10 a.m. Nov. 8 in the undercroft of Saint Joseph the Workman Cathedral, 530 Main St. The Rev. Michael Gorman, rector, will present the first two sessions on Pope Benedict XVI’s Sacramentum Caritatis. The second session will be Dec. 13; remaining forum sessions are planned for next spring. Sponsored by the Cathedral Sacred Worship Committee, the sessions are open to the public. Refreshments will be served.Franciscan Spirituality Center, 920 Market St., has scheduled the following on Nov. 8: Marriage Booster Retreat from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. facilitated by Pete Larson of Family Fest Ministries, with the focus on a deep sharing between husband and wife; and Reclaim Your Intuition from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., presented by Jean Kasparbauer, FSPA, and focusing on self-care and personal growth.
