The Seventeen Candles for Avery fundraiser to benefit the Chileda Day School program will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Nov. 16 at City Brewery. It will feature the local band Shoeless Revolution, food from Kate’s on State and a silent auction.

Avery Scheuch, 16, wanted to do something for the community, and for the second year in a row, she is raising money for Chileda on her birthday.
Located in La Crosse, Chileda is a school and home for children with autism and other related developmental disabilities.

Scheuch has a special connection with Chileda because her younger brother attends the day school.

She believes that children like her brother thrive because of the programs at Chileda.

Tickets are $10 and can be purchased in advance from Chileda or at the door.
