Smalley, principal since 2005, was fired in January for what district officials termed “neglect of duty and dishonesty surrounding his job performance in recent months.”
He had been placed on administrative leave in December, after being arrested for a reported domestic disturbance with his wife. He pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct in March.
In April, the district reinstated Smalley as principal, and he returned to his job in September.
A female employee also was placed on administrative leave.
Burns would not comment further on the reasons for the moves.

Most people with common sense would realize that when I said:

They would realize that I was talking to the select few I mentioned in my previous post
:"of the repeated atempts by a select few to destroy him" There are a lot of good people in West Salem, citizens and professionals alike, this aint kindergarten they know who's who and whats what.If my post hurt someone well thats the truth deal with it! "
