A limited number of general admission tickets remain for the fourth annual Dancing with the La Crosse Stars fundraiser, slated for Saturday, Nov. 28, at Central High School.

The event, a benefit for the Scenic Bluffs Chapter of the American Red Cross, will begin at 7 p.m. General admission tickets are $10 and can be purchased at the American Red Cross office, 2927 Losey Blvd. To charge by phone, call (608) 788-1000. Reserved seating is sold out.

The local stars are partnered with professional instructors, and they will be judged on their performance and the money they raise. Some have even put together brochures and posters to solicit donations to help their chances.

The stars include Matt Harter, La Crosse mayor; Amy DuPont, WXOW-TV; Terry Cowgill, Cowgill Dental; Jeffrey Trotnic, Onalaska police chief; Lissa Carlson, Coulee Parenting Connection; Pete Eide, Hillview Nursing Home; Pat Clark, WIZM-FM; Paul Borsheim, Borton Construction Co.; Dennis Vogel, Citizens State Bank; and Stephen Woessner, University of Wisconsin-La Crosse.
