The Salvation Army is partnering with Gundersen Lutheran and the La Crosse County Health Department to provide free mammograms Friday as part of a women's wellness fair.
The event will be at the Salvation Army, 223 N. Eighth St. The mobile mammography unit from Gundersen Lutheran will provide mammograms from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Appointments are preferred; walk-ins welcome based on appointment openings. Appointments can be made by calling (608) 775-7465 (PINK) or 1-800-362-9567, ext. 7465.
The wellness fair will be 1 to 3:30 p.m., with information available on bone health, nutrition, H1N1/seasonal influenza, cancer, sexual health, domestic violence and continuing education.
