Gundersen Lutheran will start offering the seasonal flu vaccine again starting Monday at its La Crosse and Onalaska clinics.
The flu clinics each day next week will be for walk-ins only. Franciscan Skemp patients can start getting the seasonal flu vaccine today through an appointment with their physicians. Franciscan Skemp has scheduled public clinics for both the seasonal flu and H1N1 vaccines starting next week.
Both La Crosse medical centers have received a huge shipment of seasonal flu vaccine and will begin vaccinating anyone who wants it.
La Crosse County Health Department will set up public clinics as soon as seasonal flu vaccine arrives, said Doug Mormann, director of the La Crosse County Health Department.
The seasonal flu vaccine is available to anyone, but restrictions still apply to the H1N1 vaccine. This week health officials have expanded the group that can receive H1N1 flu vaccine to include all school-age children and young adults up to age 24.
