Police are investigating vandalism sprees that damaged dozens of vehicles this week in La Crosse and Winona, Minn.
La Crosse police received 19 reports of property damage - mostly broken car windows - at addresses in central La Crosse. Calls began coming in about 10:30 p.m. Thursday and continued into Friday afternoon in an area between Eighth and 23rd streets.
Police say it appears the vandals shot marbles from a slingshot. Officers recovered evidence but said they had no suspects Friday and reports still were coming in.
Winona police listed at least a dozen vehicles damaged Wednesday and Thursday in the same manner.
