Doyle to speak at UW-Milwaukee commencement

MILWAUKEE  - Wisconsin Gov. Jim Doyle will speak at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee's commencement next month.

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reported the event will be Dec. 20 at U.S. Cellular Arena.

Doyle has decided not to seek a third term in office.

A retired rear admiral who served as the U.S. Navy's chief of chaplains will be commencement speaker at Concordia University the day before in the R. John Buuck Field House on campus.

The Rev. Donald K. Muchow was called to active duty in 1967 and retired in 1997. He has received the Navy Distinguished Service Medal, the Defense Superior Service Medal and the Legion of Merit.
