ST. CLOUD, Minn. - Some members of the Minnesota National Guard stationed in Basra, Iraq, will get a chance to talk to their families Sunday via video teleconference.
The videoconference is being set up as part of a Veterans Day celebration in St. Cloud.
The link will be at Apollo High School. Eight families have signed up to participate. National Guard spokesman Capt. Paul Rickert says after the families have their private conversations, Brig. Gen. Gerald Lang will make remarks.
St. Cloud Mayor Dave Kleis is also expected to speak, and there will be a Veterans Day parade in town.
