A recent segment by CNN host Lou Dobbs was simply astounding. The report claimed the following items were in an immigration reform bill working its way through Congress: Legal status for illegals after 24 hours, without a completed background check; taxpayers would pay for all lawyers to represent illegal aliens; "permanent" temporary visas, which could be renewed indefinitely; amnesty for an estimated 30,000 gang members; taxpayers would pay the Mexican government to keep their citizens in Mexico, with financial aid for schools and medical care; no back taxes for illegals; change border security by cutting 800 miles of border fence to 200 miles; in-state tuition for illegal aliens; illegals could cut in front of everyone who has applied for American citizenship the legal way; amnesty for any illegal who had been ordered deported by the courts; English would not be required until the ninth year of amnesty; and illegals would be eligible for Earned Income Credit.

If you are as outraged as I am, contact the people who are supposed to be representing us…us as in taxpaying American citizens. Call or write your congressman or senator, before they pass something this ridiculous. If they don't listen, vote for their opponent in the next election.
