MADISON - Thirteen was a lucky number for the Wisconsin Badgers on Saturday.
Wisconsin got points from 13 players and the Badgers defense allowed Alaska-Anchorage just 13 shots on goal in beating the Seawolves 6-2 in Western Collegiate Hockey Association action.
The Badgers (6-3-1, 4-3-1 WCHA) got points from 12 players in Friday's 5-1 win. They have won five of their last six games, all on home ice at Kohl Center.
``One of the biggest things is that we have roles from so many different guys, so many different lines,'' said senior forward Ben Street, who had two goals and an assist. ``Everyone is starting to click right now, chemistry is starting to build. Lots of pucks are going in the net for us. That's a good sign.''
Street helped Wisconsin to its sixth straight win over the Seawolves (4-8-0, 2-6-0). The Badgers have a 10-game unbeaten streak against UAA and have beaten the Seawolves nine straight times on home ice.
Blake Geoffrion, Patrick Johnson, Craig Smith and Justin Schultz also scored for Wisconsin. It was Geoffrion's sixth goal of the season.
Cody Goloubef and and Derek Stepan had two assists apiece.
Josh Lundeen had both goals for UAA.
The Badgers led 3-2 going into the third period, but UAA managed just five shots on goal in the third.
Scott Gudmundson had 11 saves for Wisconsin, while Bryce Christianson had 33 for the Seawolves.
Wisconsin outshot UAA 42-13, with the Badgers peppering Christianson with 12 shots in each of the last two periods.
