The La Crosse Skyrockers are counting down to their New Year’s Eve fireworks extravaganza with 6 p.m. daily salutes — and the public is invited to join the fun.

For a $25 donation per shell, community members — young and old alike — can shoot fireworks off of Grandad Bluff. The salutes continue daily, except Dec. 24 and 25, up until the 76th annual New Year’s Eve show at midnight (there’s also an early-bird show at 6 p.m.) from atop the bluff.
