This year's 12th annual Rotary Lights features more than 1.5 million lights, a live nativity from Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod churches, a heated tent, free hayrides, live reindeer and visits with Santa.

More than 2,600 people from 78 nonprofit organizations help make the project in La Crosse's Riverside Park a reality. Admission is free, but donations of cash and nonperishable food are encouraged.

Rotary Lights is open from 5 to 10 p.m. daily until New Year's Eve with the following exceptions: 5 to 9 p.m. Dec. 24-25 and 5 p.m. to 1 a.m. Dec. 31.

Santa is on duty from 5 to 8 p.m. daily through Dec. 23. Hayrides are available Dec. 12 and 19, and the live nativity still can be seen Dec. 16-17 and 23.

Background music in the video is performed and provided by Brian Schroeder of Holmen, WI.

CDs can be purchased at Shepherd's Voice in Onalaska (across from the mall) while supplies last.
